My paintings range in subject from portraits and figures to landscapes. I prefer to paint with a quick stroke, so to speak, impressionistic. But also an intensive job like painting a Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring gives a lot of satisfaction!

I mainly paint with oil paint on canvas or panel, but I also like to draw with pastel chalk, pencil or sketch pens.

All works on this site are of my own hand and inspired by existing works of other artists or by subjects that I see.
